Does anybody notice a correlation between hunger and a much shorter fuse? Is this low or high estrogen? Being starving and raging just isn't pleasant - and the need to eat is IMMEDIATE! Then the next day - zero appetite.... :o

Yep. Don't you notice children in pushchairs get grumpy when they are hungry? Mums keep telling them 'in a minute' but babies/toddlers need feeding and they need feeding NOW!
Have snacks 2 hand? Grapes, bananas, dried fruits/nuts ...........

I was advised to eat every 3 hours: 24/7 all year round ;-) and I didn't gain weight!

Look on the bright side. When we're marooned on a deserted island you will the one left to eat all those with an inefficient metabolism... :)

You'll already have starved to death, that's why she gets to eat you. I would have been too in the past, not so much recently. Middle aged spread >:(
