I don't think they have those either as said there's a shortage. Plus I normally get 2 boxes to last 2 months, I can't see them letting me have x2 mx50's and x2 mx25's, 4 boxes at one time would they ?.

When I couldn't get hold of everol 50 Patches ,the chemist rang my gp and changed me to everol 25 and use 2 patches. It's worth asking

Scrubdub, unfortunately all the strength patches are out of stock, literally none. I did find some online that you can buy privately but they're  ?48 !!  :o

I've put my script in again and the chemist have everol 50 again ! I did have a call from my gp's to say they had swapped me to Oestrogel as the couldn't get hold of any patches at my chemist so when I pick it up this morning I'll see what I've got.
Yes,at times I have bought patches privately and they are expensive but when you're desperate and you know they work well, you will pay the price!
From what I can gather, patches are coming thru in small amounts - think it's the look of the draw if the chemist can get them .

Do you mean all patches of every brand? This would be very surprising unless the current CV19 situation is impacting deliveries. I would try different pharmacies and as you say failing that then ask them to dispense 50s and 25s. These are unusual timea after all! I was put on estraderm when estradot becamse in short supply and then this became short and I was put on Elleste Solo and I am very happy with these so why not ask for these or Evorel if they are available? Despite what the manfuacturter says about estradot there have been intermittent problems with supply going back 5 years at least, way before all the current problems ( I found an old thread I think from 2015 confirming this!). Periodically they can't get hold of them in certain areas and I have no idea why. I still can't get estradot - at least at my last prescription juist before lockdown.

I'm not sure about Evorel, but Ellese solo not available via Lloyds either. My Dr rang this morning,  she's finding out from the prescriber which patches if any are available, if not she said I will have to try the gel 😕.

How frustrating for you. I would take whichever patch is going if you can! Also if your usual pharmacy doesn't have it see if you can use another one or one of the online ones that take NHS prescriptions?

Its totally frustrating Hurdity, I've tried the NHS ECHO online prescription delivery too, as they use Lloyds also out of stock. Dr is calling me back tomorrow to see if she has managed to find any 😣.

lillith Try the estraderm 50 then cut another one in half so you are getting 75mg and see if that helps. I'm usually on Everol 100mg but have been put on Estelle Solo 80mg they didn't work so cut one patch into 4 and suddenly felt so much better.

I gave up on patches 75 from chemist, they're out of stock online too, so I started using the gel, too new to it to say how its going.

Yorkshire girl, yes that's what I was doing but my GP cannot source any patches of any type so the prescriber has told her, apparently I could try ringing around different chemists, but I've already tried locally. She's put me a prescription ready for the gel now 😕

Dandelion, snap, I've now been switched to the gel, have to get my prescription tomorrow. Am dreading the faff on of applying twice a day, at least patches are easy 😕, but have no other choice now. Gutted.
