Title: How long can Merina be used for for HRT

Hi, I am 54 and have had a Merina coil for almost 4 years now and it has been great as the progestogen part is my HRT.  For contraception, I read that if can be used for 5 years but for HRT only 4 years. Does anyone know if his is correct or can it used for 5 years as part of HRT regime?

I was recently told that it is 5 years for HRT, I hope that is correct as I had mine 4 years ago this month and obviously as things are it would be good if it didn't need doing now.

Thank you all so much for the replies.  it's great to have real people to talk to  !  I was hoping I could get another year and it looks like that will be ok  :)
