Title: Smudge of blood
Post by: rolercoasterhell on March 19, 2020, 07:33:37 PM
Is a tiny smudge of blood (brown in colour) classed as a period in peri/meno?

I have been without a period for months but don't know whether to start the clock again. It really is only a wipe of brown blood so not sure if it is even worth classing as a period.

Thank you

How many months since last period before this? Are you on HRT rolercoasterhell?

If not then I would suggest that you start the clock again (for the purposes of deciding when to consult the doc about any further bleeding. However if you have a significant bleed before a further 12 months has elapsed then depending on your age perhaps consult the doc at that point if it happens?
