As of Friday. Slightly unnerved about homeschooling my 9 and 11 year old boys, especially whilst still not got peri symptoms under control..... Still..... Will hopefully leave me no time to fixate on that anymore!!!! ;)

It's going to happen due to many staff having to self isolate because their kids have 'it'. ::)
Many schools are giving out home schooling packs.

My DC's secondary school has put all their work online. Tempers will be frayed that's for sure, as it's bad enogh getting my DS to do his homework every night.

Then put it to the kids that this is the time to learn to delegate their learning times. What do they prefer: internet, computer games, maybe a few hours of schooling against 1 of computer time in the week?
A lay in and computer time until 11.00 a.m., lunch and get down to schooling?

DD will be absolutely fine, she loves school and is very disciplined when it comes to doing her homework and stuff. DS is the problem. He does well at school, but homework has always been a battle with him. One minute he's sitting at the table doing it, the next he's nowhere to be seen. I might have to borrow my mums Border Collie to round him up.
The XBox and phone will be off until the work is done every day. Negotiating with him just doesn't work.

Well done. As long as he doesn't know where the on/off switch is ;-)
You can vent here :D
