OH NO! Have you any meths/alcohol/cloves - the idea is to soak a cotton wool ball with it, squeeze it hard and apply to the painful area. Osmosis. Draws any liquid from around the socket ........

I do have a cough but it's the same one that I've had since before Christmas !!!! Apart from that I'm fine.

Negatives - I've got to go out to collect a parcel and attemp a visit to the supermarket :(

I wouldn't bother with the supermarket. Local co-op packed at 8am, shelves already empty.

Survived the supermarket
No meat or poultry
No milk
No pasta or rice
Not much bread
Toilet roll aisle has been replaced by Easter Eggs
Soap and sanitiser has been replaced by suncream

U jest? Not ? Will need more loo rolls if those Easter eggs get ettt ........... it's newsprint that has been replaced by Easter eggs in our store >:(

I have been here only a short time, and some of that that time has been a nightmare. It's been posters on this forum...especially you CLKD, who have given so much good advice and been so generous in taking the time to write with kind words ......which kept me going through this awful menopause and the health problems it brings.

I am here, still coping with anxiety which is taking over!
Cough but only throat clearing which I have had for most of this year, throat issues but again same as most of this year.
Will feel much easier after my 14 day isolation period is over. Day 5 today.

Tough night, got to sleep at 1:30am as heart was racing with anxiety attack. Was awake again by 7:00am.
Heart is faster than normal again today but feeling calmer. No sign of a temp or cough. Feeling a little easier as I read an article that It is rare for covid to be passed before symptoms show, a cardiologist friend also told me that on Saturday when I was having a panic but thought he was just telling me to calm me down. So holding onto that today.
Day 6 of isolation

How R U arms, mine ache ;D - I was surprised at the ripple of applause that went through our village of 2,500 residents at 8.00 p.m. as well as people waving at each other. The Tesco delivery driver tapped on his van window from inside apparently :-*

I had busy long dreams and thought that I would never be able to break out of them to open my eyes. But I'm up. Breakfast to hand. Now I need to clear the fuzzy head feeling ::)

Another night of busy dreams: in Italy with either hoards of people or alone and I kept losing my neighbour. One time she had been to the toilets but hadn't let me know .... then DH appeared but he wasn't on the trip :-\. Knackered and the dream is whirring in my head >:(. I may be some time ........

Sad that stellajane has gone, hope she comes back. I don't know what has been posted (been busy looking after my dad), but I will always support freedom of speech as long as no offence has taken place. She was such a prolific poster, the forum will miss her input.
