Title: New sleep pattern
Post by: Focus on March 13, 2020, 09:37:09 AM
Y'all know I had/insomnia.

From the ages 37-45 I only slept 4 hours a night because of anxiety. It got better for a few years and then returned, maybe about a year ago, on and off.

Anyway, I'm tired when it hits me, but I know how to function on 4 hours sleep a night because I had insomnia for so long before.

Well, now this has happened a good few times, and it's a killer...sleep for maybe 6 hours a night, but wake up every 2 hours, heart pounding, having had a nightmare. So I can have three 2 hour stretches of sleep a night, and have 3 different nightmares.

It feels like torture. I'm exhausted from it.

It does sound exhausting Focus.  Have you spoken to your GP about it or tried any medication to help you get a good night's sleep?
