Title: Please help, cannot sleep on utrogestan, insomnia.
Post by: lillith112 on March 11, 2020, 02:45:36 PM: Hi ladies, I'm in a state, 😢 2nd month on sequie regime, utro 12 days each month, and I just cannot nod off, its making my life unbearable, I'm so fatigued, worn out. I'm a highly strung stressed type so thought utro would help but it's not sedatng for me at all, quite the opposite.

Is there an alternative progesterone that I can ask my Dr for ?, I have been on Cerazette mini pill before and that progesterone was fine. Or should I carry on with it and see if it settles ?.

I have also tried progest cream in the past and this was fab, but obviously not prescribed by GP's.

Ive not tried vaginally as have issues with bladder infections and scared it might irritate, but maybe it's worth a try as I can't carry on like this. I feel dreadful today and look like a panda with my dark circles under my eyes.

Ring your Surgery ASAP and ask for appropriate treatment for VA, you don't need a blood test or intimate examination. Let us know how you get on.

Post by: lillith112 on March 11, 2020, 06:25:54 PM: Hi CLKD, It's everytime I have sex, it irritates my urethra and I either end up with full blown infection or symptoms of it that last a week but I drink loads water to flush it. I've booked Dr appointment on 27th as you are right I definitely have atrophy, I have another thread about my zero sex drive and the fact that my clitoris has totally disappeared ! 😢

Post by: lillith112 on March 12, 2020, 07:18:25 AM: Well I tried utro vsginally last night, put it up as far as I could, only used one 100mg capsule, I did get a little bit of sleep, but this morning my knickers had white stuff on them and when I wiped. Does that mean it has all come out and hasnt worked ?.

Post by: lillith112 on March 12, 2020, 08:51:36 PM: It's only a month overdue, but I've had CIN 3 and Lletz procedure so important its done. Might be best to book it when I'm just on the estrogen part of the cycle.
Should I be taking 200mg utro vaginally or is 100mg ok as I read its absorbed better ?.
