Hi everyone, This is my first post. I'm wondering how you all cope when waiting for bloodtest results? I seem to spiral into a panic and just wish I could bloomin' calm down. My bloods are a repeat thyroid and liver which I'm not overly worried about but I also requested ca125 which is tested every so often since it was slightly elevated 5 years ago. It was thoroughly investigated at the time and was down to a few cysts on my ovaries. I have no reason to be panicking really but my health anxiety says otherwise. I have ibs which, as some will know symptoms can mimic ovarian cancer symptoms. Just tell me to shut up and wait and see lol.

OK Miss S - shut up ;D
If you read round you will see that health anxiety can rocket at The Change. Many are coping with young children, ageing parents, school run, holding down a job ......... so every stress is heightened.
What's the worst that could happen?
:welcomemm:

Thankyou ;D

Health anxiety is the pits. I donate blood every 4 months and still get slightly panicky in case l don't pass the haemoglobin test. You are not alone!

Oh well done. When I was brave enough to donate, I was never heavy enough >:( ::)

Oh I'm impressed Marge. My Dad was a faithful donater of blood for many, many years. Thanks.

How has today been MissS?

Well good and bad CLKD, I got results from 2 of the bloods and all good but the ca125 is not back yet. I'm trying to not stress but know this test can be elevated by things like period etc. My period is due tomorrow, so as soon as I had the blood taken it occurred to me that I should have timed it better. Just hoping all will be good.
Thanks for checking in ❤
