Title: Advice on chopping up patches please
Post by: Bobidy on February 05, 2020, 10:38:12 AM
Hi all

Can you please advise on chopping up patches.

Is it simply a matter of cutting in half / third and adding it to the side of the full patch?

Is the remaining bit of patch okay to use a couple of days later?

Thanks x

When I first used Evorel Conti, i was told to use half patches. I just cut it straight across and used the 2nd half later the same week. I never used it together with a full patch.

Yes fine to keep the remaining bit of patch - just seal it up and put away. There may be a minute amount of degradation of the estradiol but this will be negligible over a few  days. I used to cut up Estradot patches into 4 and then use over the next 2 weeks ( added to my 50 mcg patch).
