Vagifem and estrone cream finally have been working for my severe VA BUT sitting...OMG! I'm ok for a half hour but after that, it's oh no! Anyone else have this problem and if so, what did you do to ease the sitting stinging nettles.
-
Estring pessary stopped all the vaginal soreness, nothing else helped and made it worse if anything!! Vagisil cream on my vulva nightly is also worth its weight in gold. Try it!
-
Thx lindaj. Can't use estring as too atrophied. I guess I'm still a work in progress.

How often are you using 'vagifem'? Maybe buy a 'ring' to sit on which all ease the pressure on the vaginal area. Like those that we put round our waists when learning to swim, have a look-see at a site that sells mobility stuff.
-
Thx CLKD...I was thinking of getting a 'rump ring' but difficult to use in a restaurant😧. I use vagifem daily. Working well but oh lordy sitting for any length of time and OUCH!

I have a customised chair for work, raised under each thigh with a gap in the middle, takes the pressure off a bit but I'm at a desk job 8 hours a day. At home I always lay on the sofa to watch TV. I used to sit on a medical donut but that used to hurt under my thighs after a few hours. The only time I'm ok is weekends and holidays when I'm not sitting all day. Vagifem and ovestin works well when not working so I know I'll be ok soon when retired. Try sitting on a towel folded under each thigh.

Thx. Dierdre. I will give the folded towels a try. That actually makes good sense. Cheers.

Dierdre - if you are in the UK you are entitled by Law to a break from a screen every 2 hours. So put your point over ;-).
Maybe Whatsup use the 'vagifem' twice occasionally in one dose? Overnight may be necessary for ever in order to keep symptoms at bay as it is such a small amount.
-
Thanks CLKD, yes i do have regular breaks and I'm up and down all the time doing other things but it's still a long day, just sitting for an hour or so is too long sometimes.

Hi
I don't know if it would help, but I bought a memory foam seat cushion off Amazon which makes general sitting much comfier (not sure about VA, I used it post hysterectomy and still use it).
I use it on planes, in the car etc too. X
