Title: Cold chills

Hello,

I suffer from VA and am now managing to get it under control but lately I have noticed that I am getting cold chills and a dull pelvic ache which is reminiscent of when I used to be starting my period.  I would get the pelvic pain and then feel very cold and knew that I was coming on.  Has anyone else had this where it feels like your back to when I was having periods? Is this another symptom of menopause? If so ugh how many more are there?

Hi when was your last period?

I get the chills when my vaginal atrophy is problematic every time I pee.  I can feel the spincter shutting off followed by cold water running down from my shoulders.  Upping my VA treatment to every night for 7 plus Nurofen sorts that.

Chills can be a sign of thyroid function problems.

Hi,

I have not had a period for 4 years.  Thought at first I was just coming down with a cold but as I said it feels more like when I was due to come on??  Can this be the VA?

It could be if you feel chilled when passing urine.  Or a cold-type virus totally un-related.

Get your thyroid blood tests done just to rule it out but temperature control can be thyroid.
Blood tests
TSH
Free T4
Free T3
And if you can ask for vitamin D levels also.xx

I have had dull pelvic/groin ache with VA but not chills as well. Could it possibly be a UTI?

It could be but I get chills when VA is troublesome.
