UPDATE:- I had my coil replaced today 😊 having considered the Vaginal utrogestan route as an alternative, I felt I'd rather have what I know suits me....my gynae said she fitted a 74 year old yesterday with a mirena, so hope for me in future! I'm currently 55 😊
I was so worried about the removal/replacement, as it was so painful first time 4 years ago.
But my gynae injected local anaesthetic into my cervix, she was so good I hardly felt a thing, drive home no problems too

So pleased it went well and gives me hope as mine needs replacing next year so i will be nearly 57 then.
