Title: Whens the best time to take oestrogel?
Post by: Mintea on January 13, 2020, 08:23:00 AM
I just started with the gel yesterday morning and took the 100mg utrogestan last night vaginally. My doctor said take it orally at first but I had a stomach upset and ate quite late so thought it would be better vaginally. I was unsure whether it was suitable for this but others on the forum have said it is so felt ok about it.

Is it best to take the oestrogen and utrogestan at the same time or doesnt it matter?

The utrogestan leaflet  says take at same time. I'm a bit unsure. I'm 5 years post menopause.

All help appreciated x

Thanks Dotty. I'll carry on doing that. I try to split the gel (1 pump) between both legs and rub it in quickly. It seems to dry quickly x

Hi one pump is a very small dose . I'd just put it on one leg. I use 4 pumps...2 on each shoulder and outer arm . X
