Does anyone get a sour taste or metalic taste in their mouth?
This has started a couple of weeks ago.

Yep,
Had it for years. Dental all okay, gums okay. Never thought about it in terms of meno, but hey ho most things i have been suffering with have calmed down since HRT, and i did't realted them to meno until they went.
I guess the huge 'dry up' of meno would effect the mouth/taste as well.
I don't really notice it as much; either i have got used to it or it had got better.
Nothing surprises me anymore with this bod of mine.

Makes me on edge as gp said could be bit of acid but I don't think it is am on short term gaviscon and ranitidine as I get regurgitate at times depends what I eat and me endoscopy was all good and normal.
Sooo tricky to reassure myself I'm ok and it's the peri xx

Hello ladies.
I haven't had this problem with the menopause but in the early stages of my first pregnancy I noticed a metallic taste in my mouth. It resolved quite quickly as I recall ( we're talking a long time ago, my daughter is now thirty ) but it was definitely caused by changing hormones.
Hope this helps and wishing you all well.
