Hi! I've been having irregular periods since the beginning of the year but lately they seem to have gone completely mad! I missed a month, then went two weeks, four weeks, two weeks then five days!!!! Coming on after just five days has worried me. Planning to see my doctor but does anyone else have experience of this? it's freaked me out a bit. :o

Yes it's very annoying but totally normal for peri menopause. It's caused by fluctuating hormones. Loads of information on this amazing site.

I know this is an old post but I'm wondering how this has changed for you or what your gp said. I'm having periods very close together. 11 days this time. It's scary.

The Change ::) - does what it says on the tin. When I had regular periods I would bleed for 10 days, have 10 days break then another very painful, very heavy clotty bleed. The Pill helped at the time.
