Hi all
Dr Newson has created a letter along with a clinical negligence solicitor that can be given / sent to your doctors if they won't prescribe hrt etc. It's a little heavy handed but I think if you are having problems you probably need to be.
Here you go:

Yes Bobidy good stuff, thanks for sharing and a definite move in the right direction x

:thankyou: will any GPs read it though :-\

Thank you for posting the link Bobidy :). Sad that anyone should need to resort to using it, but helpful to have this hopefully empowering option.

Yes I think it makes a good starting point, and can be modified. I think if sent with a copy of the NICE Guidelines and maybe an emailed personalised response from Dr Currie (which would be cheaper than going to a private clinic) it makes a very good case. After that a formal complaint via the Practice Manager, but it's a real shame if it gets to that point. I know that without going to Dr Newson I would never have been prescribed hrt

One needs to be completely au fait with each link though :-\ in case the GP begins asking questions!
What if they refuse to read the letter or get arsey? Is Dr Newson going to take a GP who won't 'listen' to Court?
