Oh dear me!
I'm not having the best day, anxiety high, physical symptoms of nausea and upset tummy, not to mention the racing thoughts.
Thought I had an intermittent fever, then realised it was hot flushes returning, probably due to my reduction in HRT!!!
However, once a flush is I've i feel really cold, can't remember this part from before as the HRT stopped them for 6 years I've been on it. Does anyone else get this?
Thanks

I used to get this before HRT x

Dotty did you get the hot and cold thing and dry mouth?
-
You can get the same thing with anxiety. It can be difficult to distinguish a hot flush to an anxiety surge but if it coincides with feeling really stressed, it's probably a surge.

When I had Tamoxifen I had cold flushes from behind my neck down my back as far as my waist. HORMONES >:(
Why are you reducing?
-
Yes, when I had hot flushes I'd go cold after, and have like chills, but also, even now sometimes, I can feel like I'm coming down with something, then realise it's anxiety doing it...xx

Why are you reducing?
I'm reducing because I can't handle the periods anymore. I physically can't walk because of the pain, I'm allergic to codene so I'm limited as to what I can take. The PMT is so bad that I've been so low I've just thought, there must be more to it than this.
I've not had a bleed since July, I'm off the utrogestan and just on 25mg of evorel. Scan in July said endometrium is thin and my largest fibroid has shrunk by 1cm.
However the anxiety is hitting high again but if feel I've come along way so I'm reluctant to increase again at the moment.
I also want to find out my natural hormone levels, obviated I can't do this on hrt.
