Title: Has HRT made you immature and say juvenile things?

I am 4 weeks into my HRT and its really working well for me. However, I have noticed a different side to me. I have started saying really immature, juvenile things that I would not normally say. I am totally stunned (did I really say that?!!) when I've said something silly and I am horrified. I didn't even know I was thinking some of things I've said so I must look quite shocked and stupid when these things have popped out of my mouth. Arrrrgggh I have literally regressed to a silly 12 year old. What's happening?  I don't normally say such stupid things. Is this normal or just a blip?

I just keep cringing at some of the things I said last week.  ::) ;D

Please tell me this will pass!

Honeybean, I think I know what you mean, I think because you feel so much better it makes you more flippant, I have done this myself , and almost in a flirty way, that sounds silly, but it kind of gives you a new lease of life,makes you do or say things you would probably say or do  as if you were younger
I hope that's what you mean or i'm immature as well  ;D

I wouldn't know as always say stupid things and think why did I say that.

I think its a general aging thing  ;D in that I no longer take any crap from anyone  ::).  Where I might have kept gob well shut now I let it out.  I am more likely to approach people who have been bereaved or upset rather than ignoring the issues. 

We have a list of doing silly things  ;D do share  ;)

I used to be so quiet when I was younger , used to just go with the flow, not now, I say it how it is, but still wouldn't hurt anyone purposely :)

I think it's great to retain some of our playful side as we age - and I think CLKD has it right there (being the same age  ;) ). One doesn't worry quite so much about what people think so say what you think a bit more as you get older - although as jaycee says - never to hurt anyone at all purposely is the main thing and why would you do that? 12 years olds don't!!! Come on spill the beans honeybean - what have you said?

And by the way - so pleased that HRT is working for you - long may that last!!
