I have been going through the menopause past 14 years. Every few years my body decides to spot bleed. I have had womb scanned and tissue tests in past. It only seems to happen either in feb or October...The medical dr thinks its my ovaries trying to kick start themselves. I am taking femoston conti low dose. And its been 4 years since last spots ..not sure why now. Also makes my vagina itchy.

Hi how long have you been taking the Femoston Conti?
-
I have been taking the femoston conti for about 4/5 years now.before that I was on premique low dose from 2012 till about 2015. Hope this helps.

Hi Lala Lady...
The thing is, the doctor may well be right about your ovaries, but I'd still want to be checked out if it was me....just to put my mind at rest...
If I were you, I'd book in with my doctor and tell them it's happening again...you know from before they'll probably send you for a scan, and that's better than worrying, better safe than sorry...xx

I agree, you need to get it checked as bleeding should only happen on first 6 months of starting hrt x

Thank you jillydoll and dotty. I will book appt with dr. 💕

I should have said last time I had a hysteroscopy and the tissue was inactive. But the ward sister said that the breast tenderness is a clue that its my body trying again to kick start itself..weird how its only ever on a february or October. Its stopped now was only a tiny bit for one day...I thought maybe cystitis. But I'll see dr.many thanks.

The doctor should do a urine test aswell then. Just to rule that one out.
Are you getting any pain, or symptoms of cystitis?
Let us know how you get on plz Lala Lady.
Good luck...xx

Hi jillydoll
No everything's calmed down again, I took cysti calm and its helped.x

Hi. Lala.
That's good then if it's calmed down, but I'd still go to the doctor and tell him what's going on, and explain what you've taken, they should still do a dip test tho...maybe you have the start of a urine infection....? .....best get it checked....xxx

Thanks jillydoll, I revised post above as I had put I have had a colonoscopy...was not that it was a hysteroscopy in 2017. Specialist nurse going to phone next week about Dryness etc. Feeling like I've aged 20 years due to.hormonal changes over the years. I'm 54 now.

Ahh, yes, I know exactly how you feel Lala....I'm 54 aswell. Feel 94 most days! 😡
I think VA can mimic urine infections, so it could be that...
VA is one thing I don't have, ( at the moment 🤞) so hopefully the nurse will sort you out..
Let us know how your getting on...xx
