I was on Ellese duet 1mg, then the GP swapped that to femoston 1MG due to shortages. Now because I have been on HRT for three years and because I am 51, the GP wants to switch me to Femoston Conti 0.5mg oestrogen and 2.5mg progesterone. But I am not sure this is right. I suffer with low mood, bloating, irritability etc during the progesterone phase while on 1mg and i feel fine, although not as good as I used to, on the 1mg oestrogen. what would others recommend? Surely I am better staying on a higher dose oestrogen? Any experts give me some advice please?
