So I am absolutely full of a cold, cough and sore throat. I look like I haven't washed for a month and my eyes are sunken due to a lack of sleep through blowing my nose and coughing all night. I still had to work today and managed till 4pm when, horror of horrors, I did the most almighty sneeze and wet myself. You know that moment when you think that it's finally rock bottom? I stood there in my jeans knowing I had to drive home with them wet. I'm now in bed after removing offending item, showering and literally crawling into bed with wet hair. I'm literally posting this for no other reason than I just want to get it off my chest. The menopause and what it does to us SUCKS!

Sorry to hear about your day. I hope you get a good night's sleep and take comfort from the fact that we know exactly what you mean :(

Hello kdee 69
This hasn't happened to me yet but I've come pretty close and I now apply the knees together technique at all times.
My friend had the same thing happen to her in front of her son and his new girlfriend. Luckily they were at home and my friend said the tea towel she was holding in front of her helped disguise the wetness. This whole meno business can be mortifying but you are certainly not alone.
I had a rotten cold/virus recently and felt terrible so you have my sympathy.
Take care and I hope you feel better soon.
K.

Sorry to hear about the bad cold. Have had a bad few days myself for a different reason.
Have you ever had a uro gynaecologist referral? I don't have a problem with wetting myself but it was one of the issues asked about when I first saw the consultant.

No. Not yet. It's the first time it's ever happened and I honestly think it was due the absolute almighty sneeze. I don't have a problem any other time.
It's got me thinking all his though...I can honestly say I don't feel I've got a lot going for me at the moment. Such is the crap we go through. This board can be a saving grace. My husband is really supportive too. I also just told my daughter about the episode and she howled with laughter though and that did make me laugh. I wonder what will be next!
