Hi. Been a member for a little while and read lots especially on va. I'm 62 and tried vagifem but the applicator hurt so now using ovestin applying with my finger. Doctor said I can use it as much as I want. Tried using dilators as my vagina is closing up and have ended up very sore. Hurting to wee but bit better today. Should I let that all heal before going back on Ovestin? Just used a moisturiser for couple of days as not sure . Any advice please?

Hi Sarse, welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear you are suffering so much with VA. Absolutely do not stop the Ovestin, nothing will improve if you don't get the oestrogen up there. Perhaps let the Ovestin do its work for a bit longer before you try the dilators again.

Thanks for your reply Joaniepat. I only tried dilation because I read somewhere it helped va. Wish I hadn't.
