Title: Accidentally applied testogel instead of oestrogel
Post by: kdee69 on September 19, 2019, 09:22:56 PM

So I'm now in panic mode. Daughter was distracting me and I accidentally applied three full pumps of Testogel instead of Oestrogel!  :'( I noticed after I'd rubbed the last one in and washed my hands and went to put the lid back on. I can't tell you how fast I moved to the shower. I literally soaped my arm and legs in shower gel in the vain hope of removing it. It bloody dries way faster than Oestrogel. I'm now in full blown panic mode that I'll wake up with a beard and a deep voice!!! No but seriously I really am panicking. What's the worst do you think that could happen? Has anyone accidentally done similar? Omg I'm so distracted!!!

Kdee. Dont worry. It says not to wash for an hour or something like that so you got it off in time. Eve if some got absorbed as birdy says as a one off absolutely no damage done xx

You'll be fine, defo got it in the washing off window and you'd need to do that repeatedly to have any adverse effects.

Thanks all. That's given me some peace of mind.

It really has highlighted two things though. Firstly, separate the two pumps!
Secondly, be more “in the moment”. Even in HRT I often find there are things i known Ive done that I can't even remember doing. 🙄
