Evening All
For the past couple of weeks I have had the sensation of burning skin along my abdomen.
Initially I though a too tight dress had been rubbing
There is nothing to see just feels as though skin is burning randomly throughout day.
I am sure I have heard of crawling sensations on skin but burning?
Trust me to have a variant ….

The tops of my feet sometimes feel like they are sunburnt is it that type of feeling Elegia x

Yes !
It does indeed feel as though I have been sunbathing in a bikini (perish the thought)
I think I recall something similar many years ago when my c section scar was healing.
Feels very odd though.

HORMONES >:( ::)
One evening this week my appendectomy scar itched like fury, I put 'Nivea' cream on pronto, it was the tube that was the nearest. Eased it.
Maybe do some gentle massage of the area with a good cream, it could be that as oestrogen drops off muscles may become lax which might cause those sensations.

That's exactly where I get burning,sometimes in bed it feels like I have a hot water bottle on my stomach,like clkd said......hormones :(

I get it across my back and upper arms. And the front of my thighs. Mostly late afternoon and evening across my back. My thighs heat up when I'm in bed.
Thought it was just me :'(

I love the way this forum reassures and normalises all the strange things we are experiencing.

Not sure anyone has used NORMAL for any of us 😆
