Title: Question for oestrogel users please

Hi
The oestrogel online patient information leaflet says to discard the first pump of gel, but it says not to throw away oestrogel in waste water later down in the leaflet. https://www.medicines.org.uk/emc/product/353/pil
This is contradictory.
I know progesterone contaminates wastewater so I don't want to do that.
I rang Besins and they agreed it was contradictory and couldnt answer my question and said they would email me but couldnt say when I would get a reply.
How do people on here using oestrogel discard the first pump in the cannister?

I pump it carefully until it's just coming out of the spout then the next pump is a full dose and I haven't wasted any.
