Hello Ajw and welcome to the forum.

I don't have Crohns but in 2010 I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis which is another inflammatory bowel disease,  At the same time I had my last ever period  so it was a busy month lol!

I had a minor flare in 2013 but since then I have been in remission. I take one anti inflammatory drug daily and eat a whole foods plant based diet. I don't think UC has had any impact on my menopause and my digestion is in good shape.

Hope this is helpful to you. Take care and keep posting.

K.

Hi k, thanx for your message, it sounds like you went through an awful lot all at once. I also made a huge change to my diet, not totally plant based but near enough, no gluten wheat or grains etc. Crohns is quiet at the moment !!! And may it continue . I'm into healthy options and don't like to take any drugs, do you know of any natural things to take to level out estrogen levels
Thanx again
Ajw
