Title: Difference between Femoston 1/10 and Indivina 1/2.5
Post by: Rosie63 on September 04, 2019, 07:44:23 PM
Hi ladies.

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between Estradiol and Estradiol valerate please ? I've been on Femoston 1/10 for nearly 6 months now but still not feeling great. Doctor had suggested trying Indivina 1/2.5 a few months ago but I decided to try to stick with the Femoston for a bit longer.  I've managed to get the Indivina and I'm tempted to give it a try now.  Also am I right in thinking it's only half the dosage of Prog compared to the Femoston ?

Any help you can give me on this would be appreciated.

From the tabs above (Treatments: HRT preparations: for post menopause )

Femoston 1/10 is sequential, ie you should have a bleed

Indivina is continuous no-bleed, and is a different sort of progestogen (hence the different amount)

Thanks dahliagirl. I think I had a senior moment when I sent my post. I should have said I'm on Femoston conti 1/5. Sorry for confusion 😞

That makes sense  ;D

The bit about the progestogen still applies
