I'm thinking about starting HRT but worried about it making my facial hair worse, anyone got any advice?

Hi karendavies
:welcomemm:
I would choose one with one of the progestogens that is not derived from testosterone which should reduce the likelihood of androgenic side effects like facial hair.. They are all listed here:

If you want to try a tablet then Femoston contains a progestogen very similar to progesterone or you could take progesterone itself - marketed as Utrogestan ( together with a separate oestrogen tablet, patch or gel).

Since taking HRT my facial hair is less noticable. Don't know if it a coincidence but it definately is less obvious. I take evorel sequi.
