Title: Do you bleed on constant ustrogen? Please help. X
Post by: Butterfly22 on August 24, 2019, 07:05:33 PM
After reading a couple of threads I'm wondering should I be having a proper bleed. I've been on 100 Estraderm patches and 100 Utrogestan every night no break. (I am changing to gel due to shortage on patches) I have a tiny show like a dot every now and again, should I be having a full on bleed? I really feel like I need a period as bloated and snappy and feel like crying at everything.
Sorry to ask just my doctor is not really helpful, he didn't even no how much gel I should have compared to the patch dose.

Hi if you take utrogestan continuously then you shouldn't bleed . Continuous use of Utrogestan is for post menopause. X

Are you post-menopause Butterfly22? Also have you been on this HRT regime for long and do you take it orally? Sometime Utrogestan can make you feel like that ie pms symptoms, but if you haven't been on it long then hopefully these side effects will settle as they have for other women?
