Are there any experienced Ovestin users who could help?
I've been given Ovestin to use daily.
I'm going away and need to take enough Ovestin for two weeks daily dosing. I can't see any information stating how many doses there are per 15gm tube.
The dose is 'one applicator' - leaflet says this is 0.5mg estriol in 0.5g of cream, so am I right in thinking this means it would give 30 doses?
The tube is really quite small and I wonder if I've got it right - maths is not my strong point at the best of times and adding in a really woolly head today and there's no hope! ;D

Yes, Salad, it's 30 doses. :)

Thank you Jenna! :D
Getting my 'pharmacy' of medication ready to pack ;D

It's a measured dose. Carry it in your hand luggage ;-) in the original box.

I dont get 30 doses out of one tube. More like 10 Using the applicator.

I've never counted ::)

Thanks Tc - I did wonder.
I'll take a couple of tubes with me and hopefully that will see me through my holiday :)

Enjoy your holiday :)

I think it also depends on whether one smears it around the whole vaginal area or simply internally.
Where you going, somewhere warm? [we have a holiday thread ;) - not that I'm nosey :D ]
