I've been taking a pea sized amount of testogel for three weeks and I've noticed that I'm suffering from really bad back ache. Upper body and almost like the pain I get before I'm going to get a huge cold. But no cold comes and apart from the back ache, I feel fine. Has anyone else experienced this or is it possibly unrelated. I've not applied it today to see if it lessens but I don't really want to stop if it's unrelated.

Hi kdee69
I can't see this as a side effect and I wouldn't have thought it is due to the testosterone (but never say never!)? However T does have an effect on muscle ie helps to build muscle strength. What other meds/HRT are you taking? Exercise? I would suggest it is unrelated but do consult your doc if it persists and is causing you concern though as we can't tell you if there is anythinhg wrong generally. Hope it eases soon...
