Hi. I'm a new member. I'm 48 and perimenopausal. I've been to my GP and she's prescribed me Femoston-conti (0.5/2.5mg). The leaflet says it's for women who haven't had a period for over a year. I'm still having regular periods. Have I been prescribed the wrong HRT? My symptoms are memory loss, fatigue, very low and some sleep issues. I haven't started taking them yet. Thanks.

Hi you need Femoston Sequi not Conti. You are right that you've been given the wrong medication. It won't harm you but you will probably get lots of irregular and breakthrough bleeding x

Thanks! I haven't started taking them yet and I'm seeing my GP next month about something else. I'll get a new prescription then.
