FSH 52.6 IU/L
LH 50.9 IU/L
OESTRADIOL 370 pmol/L
All it says is your results show you have entered the menopause. There is no info as to how high or low these are ☹️

Hi Roobee, sorry I don't know about the results, but from what I understand: peri menopause are the years of disrupted cycles, then the menopause is the 12 months of no periods, after that we are post menopause...
How long have you not had a period for?
Do you take hrt?
X

Hi Jari, I don't take HRT and I haven't had a period for at least 18 months.
Just doesn't show any ranges so wondered where those numbers are in the grand scheme of things 😂
More out of intrigue than anything else x
-
Hi Roobee, if it's been 18 months, then you are post menopause. I'm the same. I haven't had a period for 24 months.
I'm also not taking hrt..
What age are you? I'm 49.
Are you having any symptoms?
What is your BMI? X
-
Ps it seems that FSH levels at 30 or higher and no period for 12 months, would show a woman has reached menopause.. x

I'm 48 and think I have most symptoms, number 1 being anxiety, number 2 not sleeping, number 3 brain fog++++
BMI I have no idea 😂 I'm a size 14 so weight ok and stays the same mainly
Thyroid been checked twice by Doctor. I paid for this test myself because Doc didn't want to do one. I know it's not really relevant to diagnose from bloods but I was intrigued. I had a coil for years so wasn't exactly sure what was going on with periods

I'm sorry Jari, I'm not sure what happened to my reply there? 🤷🏻♀️

Roobee, if you know your weight, you can work out your BMI. Just go online and google bmi calculator..
mine is 29.3.
Do you have hot flushes and night sweats?
How were the results from your thyroid test? X
-
Well what do you know lol it's 26 😂 says I'm overweight and need to lose 5% of my body weight, Whatever!
Thyroid all fine and no I don't have sweats or flushes
-
That's great you don't have sweats or flushes and I think you would have started having those by now if you were going to?! I think.
Interesting with your BMI, mine is at the higher end of the bracket and I'd ideally like to get it down to mid bracket if poss. I think this would really help with symptoms. :)

I was just really disappointed that there was nothing indicating what should be high or low and what that means.
Usually you have a nice little scale of low, within normal limits and high, so you can see where you are..maybe it doesn't work like that for hormones, i dunno.
🤞🏻 I don't get flushes it's about the only thing I don't have so long may that continue x

Roobee, here's a bit of a chart. ;)

That blows my mind! 😂
-
-
I spoke to my GP, I have FSH and LH that suggests postmeno but Oestradiol normal and not post! How does that even make sense?
-
Why do Drs give people the results of tests but not explain what they mean,it's a bit pointless isn't it really, because we are no wiser ::)
-
Lol jaycee, sadly the answer doesn't help me anyway! 😂
