Even when I'm so very tired all the time and lack the energy to stand up and go outside for a walk, and even when I'm not dieting and eating what I fancy, I've lost 5 kilos in the last two months.
The thing is I had a blood analysis two weeks ago and everything was OK including the thyroid and tumoral markers, everything except that I'm anemic.
I'm really delighted because all my life I have been overweight, and now still slightly overweight.
Don't think it's because the anemia since I've been anemic many times and it didn't make me loose weight
Could that be the peri or the new BCP?
Seems strange because almost everyone gains weight on BCP and perimenopause.
If its peri, I think finally I've found something good about it :)

Hi Cacarosa
Well as long as you have been investigated and there is nothing wrong in terms of your weight loss - then rejoice! Most of us put on weight around peri-menopause - I certainly did, until I learnt that my body needed less food and more exercise to keep the same weight!

Oh yeah I DO enjoy it!! :)
If its because of the BCP I intend to take it until I'm 95 :D
