Title: Chemist gave me a different brand of Estrogen patch
Post by: TraceyTracey on July 06, 2019, 07:41:01 AM
I was taking Evorel 50 for 6 years and have managed to even out the hormones for about 70% of the time, Merina coil fitted too.

Now the chemist has given me Estraderm MX 50 by Merus Labs.  Could there be changes in how I feel or react to the different brand?

Thank you  :)

I changed between patches and didn't notice a difference with the dosing really, just the comfort and stick ability of the actual patch.

Give it a go and see how you get on  :)

You may or may not notice the difference - especially if the patch size varies greatly between the two as it will partly depend on your skin, and also how sensitive you are to small changes.

I would go with Salad's recommendations and give it a go....try not to worry nor expect any differences and then  hopefully all will be well :)
