Title: Enlarged ovary - does anyone have any experience of this?

Hi,

Can any of you ladies share any of your experiences.  I had a pelvic scan today and I have been told that the lining of my womb is fine, but I have an enlarged left ovary.

They are referring the scan to a consultant and asking my GP to give me a blood test and have said I will then need another scan.

Should I be worried?

Until you get explanation then you will be worried even if it ain't necessary.  What's the blood test for?  I would ring the Dept and ask the questions.  Did you not get a note to take away with you ?  Or ring your GP surgery and ask?
