I had this done under general on Thursday as I have been having terrible bleeds and my new mirena coil expelled itself in a massive clot. My Gyne Doc did not want to do a Hysterectomy yet as she said it is a big op to get over so wanted me to try this first.
Everything went ok but after she said I have got several fibroids so it may not work, got to go back in 6 weeks.
Has anyone else had on done and what have your results been?
I am on Femeston conti for HRT.

Would the fibroids shrink without HRT? Maybe put the product name into the search box and see what pops up, make notes ;)
Hysterectomy is a major operation so you need to know what HRT on-going support you will need .

I need HRT to help with my other problems like brain fog, concentration, waking at nights, hot flushes ect so its complicated. I mood ect is so much better on HRT.

Some find that keeping a mood/symptom/food diary useful.

Had this done a few years ago, I also have fibroids. It made a big difference initially. Then I was diagnostic worth peri, put on hrt and got the bleeds back. Very painful bleeds but not heavy. Oestrogen can cause fibroids to grow but on my last scan a few months ago my fibroids had shrunk. I think this is because my hormone levels are probably quite low now.
