Hi,
I have been taking HRT for 4/5 years the last year was a patch which made me eat constantly (sugary and fatty food). I now might have gall stones, scan this week.
I have read gallstones are related to HRT. Anyone else had this from taking HRT??
Thanks

:o :-\
I wonder what was in the patch to cause the body to crave sugars ???

Weight gain and over eating are listed in the side effects!
Regardless of the weight gain I have been reading that HRT can cause gall stones and wondered how true it is or if anyone has any experience of this.
Thanks

I got gallstones for the first time ever, during chemotherapy. As this also sent me into an immediate menopause I'm wondering if there's a connection between menopause itself and gallstones, not HRT?
