Sorry - Links aren't allowed and it dropped my computer out.

Maybe tell us about the book - title and author?

Seems to work for some people CLKD. Have you copied and pasted to see if that works?
It's an article in the Guardian and it is beautifully written. It should strike a chord with many. I just wish that some GPs would read it!

I read with interest and am left with the same old question of how easy Menopause is for some and how life changing it is for others.
It's good to see articles like this being published to raise awareness- Thanks for sharing  :D

Taz- it was on the menopause monologues Facebook page which was found through a post that Emma put up looking for contributors to a possible second book by Harriet Powell. It's on the forum somewhere but my wee brain is frazzled and I can't find it.
I've ordered her first book and after reading it, I shall keep it in my handbag to hit all the smug gits who think we're being drama queens. Or maybe I'll just hit them with my handbag for the added satisfaction.

Gracie- I've sent the link to hubby to try and help him understand it's not me making a drama out of a crisis ( which of course I reserve the right to )  ;D

Pants46- you are so “not pants”
I hope your friends will understand a little better after reading this. It's difficult if you haven't experienced a bad menopause that it can make you feel very very unwell, so much so that you think you have something seriously wrong with you x

It would be great if we could swap bodies with husbands so they could experience Physical and mental symptoms of menopause  for a few days lol!! ;D
Hope it helped for him to read it Michelle x

Don't think he has Gracie. It's fingers in the ears and humming tralalala tralala. ( although he's very understanding I don't think he really gets how crap you can feel. X

yes, a great read, can relate to all of it - read this article a while back - it's a double whammy when you have a hideous (early) menopause and spend years searching for the right fit HRT - only to find it doesn't exist!
