The article doesn't give a date.  Nor how 1 is supposed to apply - bet GP surgeries will be over-whelmed with requests once word gets out  :-\.  Once I've decided to leave a situation it doesn't matter how far away the car might be, I'm GONE!

I know that some supermarkets have quiet times for autistic people.  But a blue badge for anxiety ?  discuss  ::)

Theres not enough disabled spots to cope!!

My wife had large section of bowel removed due to crohns disease and couldnt walk far in later years because walking set off incontinence. I tried to get her a blue badge. It would also have helped if she was driving and needed to park near a toilet.
I was told basically as long as her lega worked she didnt qualify
She only got one in the end when she had terminal cancer.

As someone with anxiety I dont think I would want to take a badge when others with physical issues dont qualify. But that's just me.

What do you think Clkd?

I don't require it for anxiety.
Not enough spaces as you say.
Spaces already abused, as are those labelled 'child and mother'.
I think that there should be an area for parking of LARGE vehicles, away from the main car parking spaces: i.e. anything larger than a Fiesta  ;).
More toilets required for those with bowel problems, there is a 'card' system, i.e. I need the toilet now but most supermarkets have 2  :(

Tc that comment was so disrespectful about your wife, no wonder people get house bound.  It stops one wanting to even attempt to get into the 'normal' World  :-\
