Title: Prolapse/bladder weakness
Post by: sjpercy3 on May 30, 2019, 01:50:05 PM
Hi Ladies,

I just wanted some advice on something I'm finding very hard to deal with. All of a sudden I seem to be experiencing incontinence. I have minor symptoms when using Progesterone vaginally, but it's got so bad in a short space of time.
I'm in a bit of pain and have bloating (from med's) so I'm not sure if it's the pressure or an infection.
Yesterday I had a car accident and when I got home my knickers were soaked. :'( I then wondered could it be stress induced. I can't see any obvious lumps which would indicate a prolapse, but it's progressed so rapidly I can't help but think it is.

I'm seeing my GP next week and wondered if there's anything I should ask for as they generally aren't very helpful.

Do you have treatment for vaginal atrophy?  As oestrogen levels drop so the body may become dry, inside and out: skin, nostrils, deep in the ears, vagina ......

How R U after your accident?  I expect shock and the suddenness let your bladder 'go'.

Hi CLKD,

I do. I've been using Ovestin cream for a few years now. I wonder whether my oestrogen levels have dropped even more, as I'm perimenopausal. I just can't work out why it has come on so quickly.

Yeah, I think it did. I'm feeling incredibly low today. I can't deal with stress like I used to.
