Has your urine been sent to a lab for testing?

Now you know it's for ever  ;).  Get some vagifem and some pain relief and start ASAP.

Atrophy will mimic uti's but a test will confirm this, also I get an atrophy flare up when very stressed. You will need to take Vagifem or similar local oestrogen for life to managed these symptoms so the sooner you start the better, I would do the 14 day reload and then whatever maintenance dose you're comfortable with, 2 to 5 per week.

One doesn't 'take' vagifem ;-)

What support is your husband getting for his depression?

How R U now?

Feeling cold could be thyroid function problems.  A virus?  Shock?

How much does his depression impact on you?  If he won't accept help then you need to speak to your GP on your behalf so that the Doctor is aware and then point your DH in the direction of the various agencies, i.e. Mind walk-in clinics or tell him to take up a hobby.
