Title: Tibulone
Post by: twarno1234 on May 26, 2019, 12:39:44 PM
Hi Ladies
…. I just can't find any kind of hrt that works for me at the moment, I am progesterone intolerant. The menopause clinic have given me Estradot 50mg and progesterone to take for two week every 3 months. The estradot was fine for two weeks then I had anxiety, heart palpitations, I tried cutting the patch in half but still it gave me the anxiety and heart palpitations. I am thinking to try tibolone and cut the tablet in half.. nothing seems to be working, I have tried nearly every brand patches and tablets any advice ladies

Hi twarno I was on Tibolone but you can only take it post menopause and give it 3 months before deciding whether it's working or not. Personally it didn't work for me.

I was on tibolone for 18 months and it was ok for reducing hot flushes and libido but made me feel really tired and achy, lethargic.  I came off it cos of post menopause bleeding as it caused my womb lining to thicken, but that's a possibility with all hrt I think.
