Title: Date of last period
Post by: Nannyneet on May 23, 2019, 04:43:40 PM
I've just gone back through the diary I keep and found out my last period was a very short light one on the 4/1/19 and previous to that it was March 18 so they are definitely stopping
Is this classed as peri menopause as it hasn't been a year since I had a period even though the last one was very light

Hi Nannyneet, Yes...you are perimenopausal until 12 months after your last period.  In between, things will be erratic. Even spotting counts...Keep journaling them!   :)

My bleeds waxed and waned 4 several years ........ sometimes I would miss months then get several bleeds in a row.  Then suddenly I noticed that they had gone.

Mine have been like this for about four years now,I'm hoping it doesn't go on for much longer 😢
