I have been taking Evorel 25 and utrogestan 200mg. I felt better initially as my mood lifted and I started to feel like myself again. I have always struggled with pmt but this month it has been terrible. I am very bloated, tearful, easily upset . I have a couple more days on the utrogestan. I usually feel better when my period starts.
Have I not got the balance right. My mood is better but my pmt is much worse. What do I do ?

Evorel 25 is a very low dose patch. It's probable that you need a higher dose patch , more oestrogen x

Thank you Dotty ...do you think thats
Whats causing the issue . It's not easy this hormone balancing is it. Just had a row with my partner .

HORMONES!
PMT can be eased by eating every 3 hours, 24/7. Eases sugar levels because the body can get anxious if it requires energy.

Thank you Clkd I will give that a go ....but was wondering if I needed a higher dose of oestrogen xc

I have found during Peri my ' PMT' has got ' worse' year by year
until it feels like it is always there to some degree. No matter what
regime I was on. Some months are better than others then back it
comes. I have never been able to find a magic fix so just tell myself
it will pass and is just part of the process. The closer to full Meno the
stronger it feels. I think the increased 'stress' / cortisol etc feeds on itself
so the challenge is to try to control the adrenaline. CBT sometimes helps with this
but not in the throes of it.

R U able to describe how you feel? True PMT is prior to a bleed and goes once the period begins. However >:(
