I lost a piece if a filling so it was a new filling, I don't have any numbing injections so I was in and out quickly. Now I'm going to raid the fridge ;D
-
Hmm, tricky! - I was looking at the breakfast thread thinking whether my first meal of the day counts as breakfast. I have a sleep disorder and I fast so 'breakfast' is often 4.30 to 5pm, my 'lunch' is 9pm and my last meal of the day is around 3.30am ;D.
-
What time to you get out of bed, do you work? I suspect that if you ate at a more 'regular' time your sleep disorder would eventually catch up. If the body is hungry it won't sleep! Sometimes I have to get up to munch around 1.30 ::)
I'm not sure about fish fingers and Mayo :-\
-
I love fish fingers & mayo - has to be Yorkshire Rapeseed mayo though!!
I had a naked berry bliss bar & a handful of crisps

I don't go to sleep hungry! - last meal is 3.30am and I go to sleep at 6am, wake at 12.30pm. I work part-time from home.
I have had this sleep issue since my teens, although it progressed over the years until I was no longer able to work (or keep) conventional hours. I ate at 'normal' times for many years and it made no difference whatsoever, I now eat to fit with my disorder or I would be awake at night, starving for hours on end. Anyway, for people with circadian disorders (as with shift work) it is generally recommended you stick with a routine to fit your this cycle or you will become ill.

Did it take long to sort out what and when? I have to eat B4 my body gets hungry or anxiety strikes :'(
What you having later ?
-
I don't know really CLKD, it just sort of evolved over the years based on the number of hours after waking I would have meals if I was keeping 'normal' hours. There has been some tweaking - such as my last meal of the day- as I have never been able to sleep if hungry. The fasting is relatively recent. I never seem to want to eat first thing so it wasn't difficult to do. Sometimes I eat earlier if I'm going out during the day as I can't guarantee to find something that isn't carb-based once I get hungry.
Tonight is roast beef and a couple of veggies (not decided which yet!)

CG you must try the Genius brand of brioche rolls,2 in a pack, they are the nicest ones of all the wheat free, when I say you must,I mean it as I had to get off my fat bum and go to kitchen to find out which brand they were to tell you 😆😂
-
Tesco does them xx
-
;D. what's an oopsie roll when it's up and backed ?
Two slices of crisp bacon on a round of white toast, covered with rocket and 4 small tomotoes. Then the ice-cream van arrived ;D
-
It's like cloud bread, I will admit it's weird as is made from egg, cream or tartar and cream cheese, but thought worth a go x
-
I'll give that a miss then ;)
-
I've just googled them, really simple to make and do look yummy, going to try them
-
I have not had a single crumb of bread since the New year when I started at SW. I don't even miss it now. I know I can but I feel better without it and if I have bread I HAVE to have butter so I save both ways round.
-
I had a wholemeal flatbread heated with humous & a banana

no view there but plenty on the way and a lovely little village where the bakery is
-
Had a super duper lunch.
Toasted crumpet + blue cheese + grated cheddar
+ sliced pears + walnuts + sage leaves drizzled with
olive oil and put under a high grill for 3 minutes
(don't burn the walnuts!).
All the was missing was a spicy bloody mary (and a husband who would
have made the lunch for me ;).
-
I have to beware of cheese and chocolate which can burn my mouth badly :-\
We had lunch out, I had a 'costa' emmatalle and mushroom thingy, microwaved.
Home now for pudding ;D
-
I had marmite & cucumber sandwich on granary & a banana
-
OH! Marmite on hot toast :-*
-
Oooo Marmite and cucumber. Not tried that before. I like it under beans on toast with
black pepper and cheese. Marmite with peanut butter on toast too if I feel a bit under the weather.
Any Marmite suggestions greatly appreciated. I do like a cheese straw. The Mary Berry recipe for them
are delish and so quick n easy.
-
Ooh Marmite & cucumber sandwiches Yorks Girl - haven't had one for years - thanks for reminding me - love it!!
Lunch today was slow roast leg of lamb with baby new pots boiled in skins & a mix of kale, fine green beans & carrots in mustard butter dressing. Small portion meat, loadsa veg! Then baked plums & vanilla ice cream.
