I expect there is an old thread on this (I bet CLKD can find it), but I'm too lazy to look.
Anyway today having kippers, tomatoes and brown bread.
-
Crumpets.....🙂
-
Don't like the texture of crumpets much.
Scotch pancakes o the other hand. Yummy
-
I like smoked fish but it doesn't half pong ;D
Coffee and a biscuit is my breakfast everyday, I'm not a morning person ???
-
I agree shadyglade. I don't dislike the flavour of crumpets but the holes in them make me feel queasy to look at never mind put in my mouth. Homemade scotch pancakes though are delicious. There's not much I don't like other than processed food so it's a bit odd to dislike crumpets.
Whatever I have for breakfast is accompanied by two large mugs of coffee
-
Nothing except a cuppa or two.

I love crumpets. Morrison's have bear shaped ones at the moment. Had my usual 72 grams own mixed muesli. Why 72 grams you might ask. I checked one day on how much I was putting in my bowl and it was 110 grams. As I try to be careful of my intake so as not to put on weight (bad back) I now put my bowl on the scales. My mix now lasts a bit longer too so a win win
-
'Lizis' muesli with a little drop of milk and a small amount of sugar

So, in the spirit of this being my first meal of the day, I have just eaten a piece of cold mackerel fillet, some cold leftover broccoli and a handful of macadamia nuts ;D.

I'll pass on that, thanks :-\. What's for tea? ;D
-
Yes CKLD after my swim popped in around 8.45am
-
Perhaps that's why you felt 'off' first thing, not eating early enough?
-
When I suffer with bowels it's first thing before I even had a chance to get a cuppa when alarm has gone off at 6.15am.
-
Does the shock of the alarm set the bowels off, it can do mine >:(

Wow, unusual but good. All except the macadamia nuts. I can't eat them, they make me sick.
-
It varies along the same theme but the macadamia nuts are nearly always there. I have to ration them 'though or I will eat the whole packet! I should post my OH's 'breakfast' too - today he had two cold sausages and a huge hunk of blue cheese ;D.

That made me laugh, it is exactly the sort of thing my late OH would have had. Did your OH have mustard on the bangers? Mine would have! ;D

Salad that sounds like the best breakfast out of everyone who posted!!! Although I'm a milky tea gal!! Happy Birthday if the cake was for you.

Fruit cake's a bit too 'healthy, can't beat a bit of chocolate cake, or chocolate Easter eggs or chocolate selection boxes, depending on the occasion :D
-
Fruit cake for breakfast - after which, who knows ;D - I like fruit cake with butter spread on too ......... and any dry sponge can have chocolate custard over it ;)

Usual breakfast this morning, eaten from plates on the patio listening to the birds :-*
Too hot to each lunch outside ::)

I am jealous. It's wet and freezing here.
My dream would be to eat outside in the sunshine every meal of my life.
I had a Scandinavian breakfast for a change - boiled egg, avocado, tomato,
gherkins on sour dough bread from Lidl with a good dollup of Mayo on the side.
