Title: everol conti patch

help! i've am on the evorel conti patch on my second month and am feeling a lot better, but i seem to be bleeding a lot, like a period twice now for around 7 days each time? is this normal or is it breakthrough bleeding. i really like patch my symptoms have improved significantly, it's just the bleeding that is concerning me.

Hi bleeding can happen for first 6 months.

Are you post menopause? 12 months without a period ? X

Yes, i was on on the conti  patch about 18 months ago and had a bleed  within 3 months and the doctor sent me to the hospital for a vaginal scan and all was ok, but then the Dr said i needed to go back on the peri menopause patch and that's what i have been on until i seen another Dr 4 months and i asked if i should be in the menopause by now i'm 53, and she suggested tablets which made me feel dreadful and worse. I then went onto this patch which is great,it's just the bleeding it's like a period ?

It could be that your body is not ready for the Conti patch or it could just take time to settle . Any bleeding after 6 months needs investigating x

Thanks, I will keep any eye on it and see how it goes.
