Title: Mood and energy lifts before a bleed?
Post by: Hopeful1 on April 09, 2019, 12:10:09 PM
Anyone else experienced feeling good / productive the couple of days before a monthly bleed? I then feel rubbish again once bleed starts? My GP said it's weird and most people feel worse just before the bleed and better after.

This has been happening since before I started HRT and I'm just wondering if it might be a clue to a estrogen/ progesterone imbalance??

Thanks

My friend would strip the house from top to bottom in the 48 hours B4 her periods  ::).  It is not unknown.  Once the bleed began she would settle again.  When you are due for a period, I have some dusting that needs doing  ;)

I always felt great before my period around 3 days before it arrived , I did t suffer from bad periods ever so my mood never dropped when period arrived

Now I'd give anything to feel like I used to do

CKLD your friend sounds like me. Those couple of days before the bleed are the only days I do any cleaning!
